KLYON HOLDINGS OFF COMPASS STUDENT ACCOMMODATION (KHOCSA)

We are a service provider for landlords, we help them get suitable   and trustworthy tenants same goes for our tenants.

The provision of affordable and suitable student accommodation for use by young people intending to or who are currently studying at any of the public or private higher education institutions remains a key challenge of high demand and short supply which is exacerbated by high rental cost. In addition, the challenges of students who may need to subsist on limited financial capacity create an increased demand for affordable and suitable student accommodation in the commercial and private sector, given the limited student accommodation on campus.

As the student population increases, demand also rises for student housing which so far is experiencing a critical shortage, creating excellent investment opportunities in South Africa.

Klyon Holdings Off Campus Student Accommodation Service (KHOCSAS) provides a practical and viable alternative to the residence system by way of comprehensive information and guidance on off-campus accommodation.

Our purpose is to provide a gateway for relationships between students to students and students to landlords, as we believe that the venture for a comfortable place to live and a tenant that you trust, should not be as hard as it currently is.  As mentioned, KHOCSAS is predominantly web based, so essentially being able to be run 24/7, and the KHOCSA team is available during and after normal business hours.  Students have the opportunity to scroll through the list of potential rental properties and apply for tenancy through an application process. 

Our target market is students, both local and international, and would like to be located within a 10km radius for convenience. Our secondary target market is landlords of private rentals that are either currently renting out their houses or are looking to but do not want to go through a traditional real estate agent. Much like the students, they are looking for a relationship to be forged upon trust, dependence, professionalism and comfort.

The straight forward information allows students to make well-informed choices about where they want to live and who to rent from. This process is streamlined by a database of landlords seeking students to lease their properties. Largely it provides students with no student residence space an opportunity to review choices that are suited to their need and affordability level.
